Fuel line replace

Well I figure since I have my bed off my truck I would replace the metal line from the tank with some rubber( piece of mind ) my question is do I need special line, also what size?

I have a drawstraw, but for the supply line it was 3/8 and return was 5/16. If you go to a local autoparts store just ask for diesel approved fuel line. need about 9 1/2 feet(singlecab 8ftbed) i don't know how much you will need for anything else
