When I replace my fuel filter do I need to prime the motor, or simply just replace the filter??

IF you completely drain the filter canister to clean it out (or even drain it partially), you must cycle the lift pump a few times by switching on the ignition WITHOUT starting the engine to refill it with fuel and purge out all air - or as much as possible.

This prevents air from getting into the injection pump/ fuel lines!

I just fill the filter back up with diesel before install then she fires right back up
