Subject: Power steering leak 19th August 2012, 8:32 pm
My truck recently started leaking power steering fluid, It not leaking from the Pump itself or the steering box. It looks like it leaking from a line that goes to the brake booster. So I guess I was wondering if this was an easy fix, and also if it was a common problem on the chevy trucks

Yea I actually just did a little research its common but also it might work if you tried running synthetic transmission fluid would help

I tried running the local auto store repair additive like lucas ect.. nothing has worked so far though

It's a pressure line, 'fix it in a can' is not a fix. Replace the lines. I think they cost 20$

Yea I do suppose thats a better solution! thank you. I will be replacing it this weekend
